New Delhi: The Congress continued to insult the Indian Army with party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Husain Dalwai saying “our jawans did not get the chance to fight” and that there are no casualties on the Chinese side.

Talking to ANI, Dalwai said that Indian Army soldiers did not get a chance to fight and that they carried sticks.

“Why our soldiers were sent with sticks in their hand? Was it an RSS shakha? The government should send the RSS members with sticks in their hand to guard the border,” said Dalwai.

'BJP is the bigger enemy; China isn't trying to destroy India internally'

Earlier today, former Amnesty India head Aakar Patel’s tweet went viral where he had called BJP the “real enemy".

“Our real enemy is the BJP. China is an opponent. Has strategic objectives. It isn't trying to destroy us internally. BJP is,” Patel tweeted.

Patel’s tweet went viral and netizens slammed him for his statement.

This is not the first time that Patel has posted anti-India statement. Earlier, his Twitter account was withheld in India after he urged Indians to emulate US protests.

“We need protests like these. From Dalits and Muslims and Adivasis. And the poor. And women. World will notice. Protest is a craft,” he had tweeted.

Reacting to this BJP MP from Karnataka Shobha Karandlaje lashed out at intellectuals saying their hate for India is unbelievable.

“Intellectuals & their hate for India is unbelievable! People under Chinese payroll are busy covering the treacherous attack of #Chinese on our soldiers across the LAC. These venomous snakes within country are equally dangerous as much as those inciting at the border,” she tweeted.

Meanwhile, another Congress leader Zakir Hussain during his private conversation with his friend berated the Indian Army and lauding the Chinese forces said that Modi kept shouting surgical strikes China “captured” the Indian territory. Zakir Hussain was later expelled from the party.

Hussain, a Congress councillor, also made a shocking claim saying that 222 Indian Army personnel had died adding that the Chinese side did not suffer any casualties.

Distancing itself from the comment made by its legislator, Congress has called it “private talk”.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the Congress leader and cops are trying to locate him as his cell phones are switched off.
